The old Facebook targeted ad trick still works for B2B
Back in 2019 I was stuck trying to reach IT managers for my SaaS tool. Cold email was dead, Linkedin was too noisy. I uploaded a list of 500 company domains to Facebook and built a custom audience. Targeted their exact job titles. Got 12 demos booked in one month for $300 total ad spend. Anyone else find old social media hacks still beating the new tools?

I ran almost the exact same play in 2020 for my cybersecurity consulting firm. Uploaded 300 company domains from Crunchbase, narrowed by titles like "Head of IT" and "Security Manager", spent about $250 total. Got 9 qualified leads and closed 3 of them within 60 days. The key was making the ad creative feel like a solution to a specific pain point, not a generic software pitch. People forget Facebook's targeting is still way cheaper than Linkedin for B2B if you know how to layer your audience. Most guys I talk to never even try it because they think Facebook is just for consumer stuff.

Dude exactly, LinkedIn ads are crazy overpriced for B2B compared to what you can do on Facebook. The audience layering thing is huge, most people just set a broad target and call it a day. Feels like a secret weapon that nobody talks about lol.
