Tried two different LinkedIn outreach approaches and the cheap one blew past the expensive one
I spent $200 on a premium LinkedIn automation tool last month and got maybe 3 replies. Then I just started sending 20 manual connection requests a day with a short, personal note about their latest post. That got me 12 conversations in two weeks. Has anyone else found that the simple, human approach beats the fancy stuff every time?

Do you think part of the reason the cheap approach worked better is that people can sense when they're being handled by automation? I run a small shop and I've seen the same thing with customer calls. The ones that sound like a real person with a little bit of awkwardness actually get more respect than the perfectly scripted stuff. LinkedIn is the same way. That perfect automated message feels fake even if the words are right. The manual note shows you actually took time to see what they post about. That little bit of effort probably makes them feel like you value them as a person, not just a potential sale.
