Why does nobody talk about trade show booth location strategy?

I went to a B2B expo in Chicago last month and noticed the same vendors in the back corners getting zero traffic while the middle aisle folks were swamped. Turns out the organizer told me they pay extra for those spots but never check the floor plan traffic patterns. Has anyone else seen a huge difference just from moving booths?

Pick a high traffic spot even if it costs more, it pays off fast.

Yeah @wade767 not all premium spots are equal though, the end of a row near the bathrooms pulls way less than the center of the main aisle in my experience. Have you noticed if yours came with natural foot traffic or just a higher price tag?
