A client told me my invoices were confusing. I changed everything after that.

I used to send these detailed line-item invoices with codes nobody understood. One guy emailed back saying he felt like he needed a decoder ring to pay me. Has anyone else simplified their billing and seen fewer late payments?

Read a book called The Pricing Roadmap that said clear invoices cut late payments by a lot. Made me wonder if your clients started paying faster after the change?

My cousin's invoices got clearer and people still paid three weeks late lol.
