A client's one-line note made me rewrite my entire workflow
Last spring I was doing a contract review for a logistics firm in Cleveland. They sent back my first draft with a single comment: 'This is written for lawyers, not us.' Stung at first, but they were right. I switched to plain language, bullet points, and a summary page up top. Now I do that for every client before I even touch the fine print. It cut my revision time by maybe 40%, and three new leads came from referrals because of it. Anyone else had a client basically rewrite how you deliver your work?
