Chatted with a sales rep for 45 minutes and then realized I already bought from them
I spent almost an hour on the phone with this guy from a software vendor we used in 2022, and he kept pitching me their new analytics tool like I was a fresh lead. Halfway through I checked my old emails and saw I literally signed a contract with him two years ago. Has anyone else had a vendor totally forget their own customer history and try to sell you your own product?

Actually that happened to me once with a car dealership. They called me six months after I bought a truck and tried to sell me the same truck. Just pulled up the wrong customer profile on their end. It might be that your rep had a bad CRM system or they were just following a generic call list without checking your history first.
