Got yelled at by a client's IT guy over a shared mailbox
I was helping this manufacturing company in Cleveland set up their new CRM last month, and their IT manager goes, 'You're gonna break our whole email system with that API key.' I had to explain I was just importing 200 contact records, not nuking their server. Anyone else deal with IT gatekeepers who freak out before you even start?

Had a guy once ask if exporting 50 leads would "crash Exchange" lol. I told him my toaster has better specs than their server.

Taylor from accounting once asked me if clicking "select all" on a shared mailbox would "break the internet" and I still laugh about it to this day. She was dead serious too, like 30 unread emails was gonna bring down the whole building. Honestly, @taylor.mary your toaster comment is perfect because I've seen servers held together with literal tape and hope that crash over a 2 MB attachment. Makes you wonder what the IT budget is even doing half the time.

Poor Taylor, she was probably just trying to be careful and had no idea how email actually works. But she's not wrong to worry when half the office tech seems held together with bubble gum and prayers!
