Hot take: those cheap online reputation management services are more trouble than they're worth

I paid $200 a month for six months to a firm that promised to clean up my negative reviews, but they just spammed Google with fake positive ones that all got flagged and removed. Now my profile looks worse than before. Has anyone actually found a legit b2b service for review cleanup that doesn't backfire?

...and here I thought I was the only one who paid for a "reputation management" package that just made me look like I was running a spam bot farm. Turns out the only thing cheaper than those services is the quality of the fake reviews they leave you with. I'm starting to think the real reputation management move is just admitting my flaws and hoping nobody reads past the three-star ratings.
