Just found out most B2B review sites don't actually verify if the reviewer ever used the service
Was digging into a review aggregator's fine print last night and saw they only check email addresses, not purchase history, so a competitor could trash a company with 50 fake reviews in an afternoon.

Wait, so basically anyone can just make stuff up? That kills the whole point of reading those sites.

Yeah I used to think the whole "trust the site" thing was enough too. But then I started digging into how some of these places fact check (or don't) and honestly it got me second guessing everything. That's what got me to actually look up sources for myself.
