Legal zoom bullshit made me draft my own SaaS contract

Ngl, I spent 3 months and around $900 getting a lawyer to draft a boring master services agreement, then my buddy who runs a tiny dev shop showed me his template from a 2019 deal. I swapped in my pricing table and liability cap, sent it out Friday, client signed Tuesday, zero redlines. Has anyone else just cribbed a contract from a friendly competitor and saved the retainer?
