My sales rep at a trade show in Phoenix handed me a fake review
I was at the B2B Tech Summit in Phoenix last month and one of the sales reps from a lead gen company I was checking out gave me a printed case study on the spot. Looked legit, had a client name and a 40% increase in conversions. I called the client the next day, turns out they never heard of that company and never got those results. The rep basically fabricated the whole thing to close deals. That experience made me start cross-referencing every case study I see with actual LinkedIn profiles or phone calls before I sign anything. Has anyone else caught a vendor lying on their testimonials?
