Question about HubSpot vs Salesforce for a 30 person team
We're a mid size B2B service company, 30 people in the office near Pittsburgh. I picked HubSpot about 8 months ago because the sales rep made it sound so easy. Now I'm fighting with custom fields and the reporting barely shows what I need. Our old Salesforce guy quit and I wonder if I made the wrong call. Anyone else switch back after a few months?

Honestly I kinda disagree with you here. HubSpot is built for teams that aren't Salesforce obsessed and don't want a full time admin just to run reports. If you're 30 people in a B2B service company, HubSpot should be more than capable. The problem with Salesforce is you need someone who really knows it to make it work, and once that person leaves you're stuck. With HubSpot you can teach yourself most of the basics in a weekend. Custom fields in HubSpot can be annoying but the support team actually helps if you call them, good luck getting that from Salesforce without paying extra. Maybe give it another month and try their onboarding team, they helped me get my reporting straight without needing a guy to manage it all.

Wait, did you actually get HubSpot support to help with custom fields?
