Surprised that most B2B pricing pages hide their real numbers

I was reading through a G2 report last week and found out that over 60% of B2B SaaS companies list starting prices that are at least 2x lower than what you actually pay after onboarding fees and seat minimums. I checked 5 vendors I was evaluating for my logistics team and all 5 had hidden setup costs in the fine print. Has anyone else run into this gap between advertised pricing and the final quote, and do you have a way to force transparency before the demo call?

Oh sure, the advertised price is just the friendly hello, the real number is the handshake that follows. I had one vendor quote me a rate that magically doubled once they added the "implementation partner" that was actually just their own sales guy reading a checklist. Best trick I've found is asking for a full line item breakdown before the demo, and if they stall, you already know the answer.
