That sales consultant's advice on client follow-ups actually paid off
Last month a guy at a networking meetup told me to send handwritten thank you notes instead of emails, and I landed a $4k contract from a prospect I'd written off. Has anyone else gotten a win from some random piece of advice someone gave you?

HOLD UP. You wrote a HANDWRITTEN note? In this day and age? That's wild. I would've laughed at that advice honestly but damn $4k is nothing to sneeze at. I hate to admit it but there's something about getting actual mail that makes you feel important. I might have to swallow my pride and try this.

Last year I mailed a handwritten card to a cold lead and got a $6k deal out of it.
