The vendor demo crashed 4 minutes in, right after they said "watch how smooth this is"
We were on a call with a software vendor last Thursday, and about 4 minutes into the demo their screen froze on a loading spinner. The rep kept saying "one sec, it's just my connection" while his face was stuck mid-smile for like 2 minutes straight. Then he tried to restart the whole thing and accidentally closed the wrong window, so we all just watched his email inbox pop up. I ended up picking a different tool from a smaller company that let us run a free trial, because at least their stuff actually loaded. Has anyone else had a demo fall apart and still bought the product anyway?
