Took 3 weeks to get a simple API integration working with a vendor
I needed to connect our CRM to a logistics provider's system and their docs were all wrong. Spent 2 of those weeks just emailing their support trying to figure out why the authentication kept failing. Has anyone else had a vendor's promised integration timeline blow up like that?

I read a post from some dev on Reddit last week who had the exact same problem with a payment gateway vendor. They said the docs claimed their API used OAuth 2.0 but the actual headers needed were completely different and support didn't even know about it for the first week. Honestly it sounds like your logistics provider probably rushed their documentation out the door or hired someone who didn't actually test the endpoints. Tbh two weeks of email tag is brutal though, I would have started tweeting at their CEO by day five.
