Started my first balcony garden in Austin back in March. The tomato seedlings looked like ghosts, totally pale and stretched. I blamed the seeds, blamed the soil, even blamed the cheap grow light from Amazon. Then I checked the balcony rail, it faces north, no direct sun ever. Moved everything to the south corner last Tuesday, by Friday the leaves turned deep green. The difference was night and day, 5 plants went from floppy to sturdy in 72 hours. Anyone else fought a shady balcony and moved plants around?
