I ran the numbers on watering costs and honestly I'm mad at myself
Did some quick math last week after my water bill jumped $18. I got a little rain gauge and measured what I was actually giving my balcony tomatoes and peppers. Turns out I was overwatering by almost double what they needed for a whole month. Found the recommendation on an extension office site from Ohio State, of all places. Anyone else ever check how much water they're really using?

Man, I feel that. I did the same thing last summer and felt like an idiot when I realized I was just dumping money down the drain.
