My basil went from sad to huge after I switched to a bigger pot
I had a single basil plant in a 6 inch pot for two months and it stayed small and kept dropping leaves. I moved it to a 12 inch container last week and it's already doubled in size with way more new growth. Is it just basil that's this dramatic about space, or do all herbs freak out like this?

lopez.ivan is right about the drama, but it's a basic plant thing. They all get root bound and stop growing. Give them space and they take off.

Always thought herbs were just picky about water. Seeing your basil proves they really just want room to stretch out.
