My basil went from spindly twigs to a jungle in 11 days flat

I left town for work and my neighbor watered it twice with his "secret fish tank water" from his aquarium, and now the thing is taller than the railing and shading my tomatoes completely. Has anyone else had a sudden growth explosion from an unexpected water source, or should I be worried it's secretly radioactive?

Fish tank water? That's wild. I've heard people swear by it for houseplants, but turning a basil plant into a jungle in 11 days sounds like something out of a science experiment. My neighbor used to dump his old aquarium water on his roses and they got big, but nothing like shading out the rest of a garden. If it's radioactive, at least it's not glowing yet, right? Keep an eye on it and maybe taste a leaf before you go making pesto with it.
