My cherry tomato plant exploded after that heat wave last week
I've been growing a single cherry tomato plant in a 5-gallon bucket on my east-facing balcony in Portland for about 60 days now. Last Tuesday after three straight days of 95 degree weather I came out and found 28 ripe tomatoes on it overnight, it was like a tomato miracle. Has anyone else had a sudden harvest burst like that or was it just my plant losing its mind from the heat?

Right?? Same thing happened to my plants" - my cherry tomatoes looked like they had a wild party while I was at work, though honestly I'm just relieved they didn't stage a full on coup in my 5 gallon bucket.
