My first balcony tomatoes were in tiny 6 inch pots and now I use fabric bags
Back when I started on my little third floor spot here in Columbus, I crammed three tomato plants into 6 inch clay pots and spent all summer watering twice a day. After two years of sad little fruit I switched to 10 gallon fabric grow bags with a cheap drip timer, and the plants stopped dying by August. Does anyone else feel like they spent their first few seasons fighting their containers instead of the weather?
