My spinach went from yellow to deep green in 8 days after I fixed this one thing

I was staring at pale sickly leaves for weeks. Thought it was a nutrient thing. Added some fertilizer but nothing changed. Then I realized my balcony faces north and they were only getting like 3 hours of direct sun. Moved them to a south facing window ledge and boom. Huge difference in just over a week. Has anyone else had a plant totally turn around just by moving it a few feet?

Whoa, wait, you had spinach that looked like it was on its last legs and it bounced back that fast? @jason_robinson, I'm with you on the soil drainage thing sometimes, but light always wins in my experience.

Blame the light all you want, but maybe your balcony just had bad soil drainage.
