Saw a big difference after switching to fabric pots 8 weeks ago
I swapped my plastic pots for fabric ones on my balcony tomatoes back in March and the root growth is way better, plus no more water pooling at the bottom. Has anyone else noticed their peppers getting bushier after making the switch too?

Oh man, you're singing my tune! I switched my bell peppers over to fabric pots last season and holy cow, the difference was night and day. The roots just exploded through those sides and got all air-pruned, made the plants way sturdier. My jalapenos that were always kinda leggy in plastic got real bushy and full after the swap, like they finally had room to breathe. I also noticed I don't have to worry about the soil staying soggy after a heavy rain, the fabric lets it dry out just right. It's a total game changer for balcony growing, I'm never going back to those hard plastic pots again.

Wait, WAIT. Hold up. You seriously grew jalapenos on a balcony and they got leggy in plastic? I thought I was the only one who had that exact problem! I swear, my peppers in those plastic nursery pots looked like they were trying to climb a ladder. But fabric pots fixed it for you too? That is INSANE. I've been telling my buddy who grows on his patio that he needs to ditch the plastic but he thinks I'm crazy. Now I can just SHOW him your post. Your experience is basically word-for-word what I went through. The air pruning thing is REAL and it's wild how nobody talks about it.
