Vent: My $60 Self-Watering Planter Was a Total Scam
I saw these fancy self-watering planters online and dropped $60 on one for my basil and cherry tomatoes on my balcony. Turns out the reservoir just turned into a mosquito breeding ground after a week, and the water never even reached the top soil. My tomatoes got all droopy and I had to drill holes in the bottom just to fix it. Anyone else get burned by those 'no-fuss' planters that just make more fuss?
