Was adamant about daily watering until my cherry tomatoes split open

I watered my balcony tomatoes every single evening without fail for 3 months because I thought they needed constant moisture. Then I noticed the skins splitting and a buddy in the community told me I was overwatering and stressing the roots. Anyone else had to dial back their watering schedule after ruining a batch?
