Green Mountain Grill let me down after 18 months

I bought a Green Mountain Grill Daniel Boone last year and was hyped about the wifi and all that. After about 18 months the auger motor started grinding loud and then quit mid-cook on a Sunday. Customer service took a week to reply and wanted me to pay $55 for a new part plus shipping. For a $700 grill I expected better. Has anyone else had trouble with these pellet grill companies not backing their stuff?

Respectfully disagree, 18 months of daily use before any issue sounds pretty reasonable to me for that price range.
