Update: my brisket caught fire at a family cookout in Tulsa

Was babysitting a 14 pound packer on my old offset smoker when the grease pan tipped and flames shot up under the lid, so I yanked it off, doused the fire with a bag of flour from my aunt's kitchen, and we ate the burnt ends with extra sauce while I promised everyone the ribs would be ready in 45 minutes, anyone else had a cookout go sideways like that?

My buddy Pete tried to smoke a turkey on his Weber once and the whole thing tipped over into his flower bed. We ate pizza rolls and called it a win.
