Swapped my highlighters for sticky tabs after a book club disaster
I used to color code every book I read for my group - pink for character notes, green for themes, like 6 different highlighters. Last month I brought a copy to our meeting and the highl bled through so bad nobody could read the quotes I marked. Now I just use those little clear sticky tabs you can peel off. Has anyone else switched their note system after a bad experience reading aloud?

Wait, did you try reading the quotes through the highlighter or just the ghost ink?

Totally agree with you there. I had a similar disaster with a borrowed book and now I only use those clear sticky tabs too.
