That book club meeting last Tuesday where we fought over the ending for 2 hours straight
Our group usually wraps up by 8:30, but last week we were still going at 10pm because two members were READY to throw down over the final chapter of this mystery novel. One lady kept insisting the author left clues she noticed, and the other guy said it was just lazy writing with no payoff. I sat there eating chips while they went back and forth about a specific line on page 247. The moderator finally had to call it because the library was closing. Has anyone else had a meeting go totally off the rails like that over one book?

honestly @sethanderson i kinda see it the other way. some people just care more about their boundaries and that's fine. it's not always about being aggressive, sometimes you just want to be left alone with your own stuff.
