Warning: My club made me pick a 700 page doorstop over a 200 page thriller
Our group had to choose between the new 720 page historical epic or a 190 page mystery for our June meeting at the diner on 5th. I went with the epic because two people said the mystery was too easy, and now half the group is stuck on page 200 and skipping the meeting. How do you handle it when the book pick splits the club like this?
