Why does nobody talk about the chaos of choosing a book for a club that has 12 different opinions
Last Tuesday our group spent 45 minutes arguing over whether a 500 page historical novel was too long, and then another 30 minutes debating if a 300 page thriller was too short, and we ended up picking a book nobody had actually read just to stop the yelling.

Wait, did yall actually read the book after all that fighting? Im curious what happened when you finally got to the meeting to discuss it. Was it another disaster or did everyone somehow agree it was fine? Feels like picking a book nobody read is just asking for round two of the same argument but with worse excuses.

@ross.angela the funny thing is we all secretly liked the book but nobody wanted to admit it because that would mean the argument about picking it was pointless.
