Ate dinner at the McMenamins vs a new Thai place last night and made a weird choice
So I had a free evening and couldn't decide between the Anderson School McMenamins or that new Thai place on Main Street by the old QFC. I flipped a coin and it landed on Thai. Got the pad see ew with extra spice and it was pretty solid, but the service took like 40 minutes for just one dish. Kinda regretted not going to McMenamins for their tater tots and a beer. Has anyone else tried that Thai spot yet or am I the only one who got slow service?

That pad see ew wait time is rough for sure. The Anderson School's tater tots are a known comfort zone that never lets you down, especially with a cold beer.

Grabbed a beer at Anderson's last week after waiting 45 minutes at that Thai place down the street. Honestly the tater tots were exactly what I needed, crispy and salty. Some random guy at the bar started telling me about his cat that learned to open the fridge. Weird night but the tots never let you down.
