Just tried that Thai spot on Main I kept driving past for months

I always thought Siam Table was gonna be overpriced basic takeout but my buddy dragged me there last Tuesday. The drunken noodles were legit $14 and had this smoky wok flavor I couldn't get at home. Even the spring rolls came out hot and crispy, not soggy like most places. Has anyone else slept on a Bothell restaurant for way too long?

Oh man that smoky wok flavor is the real deal, right? Did you happen to catch if they use a real wok burner or one of those flat top griddles? I'm always curious about that because it makes such a difference in the char. Also how was the spice level on the drunken noodles compared to other Thai places around here?

Wait, they're using a flat top?? No way, that's wild lol." "I actually asked the chef and he straight up said it's a standard flat griddle, not even a wok burner." "The noodles still came out pretty good though, and I'd say the spice was a solid medium, not as hot as Siam Kitchen but way more flavorful.
