Paid $200 for a cheap pressure washer from Harbor Freight and it died after 3 uses

I read somewhere that Harbor Freight's stuff is basically made to be disposable (shocking, I know). My buddy actually bought the same one and it leaked oil after the second wash, so this is pretty standard for them. Their "predator" engines seem okay on paper, but the rest of the pump assembly is just cheap plastic junk. You'd probably be better off saving up for a Simpson or DeWalt if you want something that lasts more than a season honestly. They might cost double what you paid, but at least you won't be stuck buying a new one every few months. Live and learn I guess, I made the same mistake with their air compressor last year.

Exactly! This is why I never trust Harbor Freight for anything with a motor. @zara_hunt nailed it, the pumps are just plastic garbage. I borrowed a friend's once and the hose actually split on the first use. Save your money.
