Shoutout to the guy who told me to try North Creek Trails for trail running

I used to stick to the paved paths at Blyth Park but after a friend dragged me out to North Creek last weekend, I'm NEVER going back. The dirt is way softer on my knees and I saw a whole family of deer around mile 2. Has anyone else found a hidden gem trail around here they want to share?

Man I feel you on the knee thing. I used to pound pavement near the industrial lots by the depot and my shins were screaming after every run. Then some guy at a rest stop told me about a loop out past the old logging road. That dirt is like running on pillows compared to concrete. I found this one stretch where the ferns hang over the trail like a tunnel and it's dead quiet except for some birds. It's a game changer when you find those spots that don't beat you up.

Hell yeah dirt is the move. I switched to trails years ago and my knees actually thanked me for it. That fern tunnel sounds unreal I gotta find something like that near me.
