Switched my opinion on those new parking lines by the library

I used to think the angled parking spots they put in near the Bothell library last year were a waste of space. But after watching how much faster the line moves during the Saturday farmers market, I get it now. My wife timed it and we saved 4 minutes just getting in and out compared to the old parallel spots. Anyone else notice a difference with those?

Respectfully, isn't 4 minutes just a made up number to feel better about the change? Those angled spots steal walkway space and cause more near-misses with delivery trucks.

Hold up, angled spots definitely crunch the walkway. Trucks swinging wide to clear them is a real problem here too. Your mileage may vary, but four minutes sounds like wishful math to me.
