Tried that new car wash on Bothell Everett Highway and it cost me $75 for a bad job
I took my truck there last Friday because the line was short and the sign looked good. They charged me for the 'premium' wash, which was supposed to include a full interior detail. After 20 minutes, they handed it back and the inside still had crumbs and mud on the floor mats. The outside had streaks all over the windows and the back bumper wasn't even touched. I paid $75 and had to go home and redo half of it myself. It was a total waste of money and my Saturday morning. Has anyone found a good, honest spot around here that actually does what they say they will?

Skip the fancy packages and just get the basic wash next time. Those add-ons are never worth the money unless you see them doing the work. I stick to the self-service bays on Evergreen Way when I need a good clean.

Totally agree with mark_hernandez12, my car is proof the fancy wax didn't work. That stuff just hides the fact I haven't vacuumed in months. The basic wash is the only honest choice for me.

That spot on Evergreen has those pressure wands that actually let you feel the dirt coming off instead of just watching soapy water drip onto your paint. The problem with those fancy tunnel washes is they never do anything about the tar buildup on the lower doors, I end up having to scrub that myself anyway. Last time I paid for the "premium polish" package my hood still had those little tree sap spots two days later. The self service bays let me spend the extra dollar on the tire cleaner and actually see it working instead of hoping a machine did the job right.
