Tried to grab coffee at the Main Street Cafe this morning
Got there at 7:30 AM and the line was out the door. Like 15 people deep. Waited 10 minutes before anyone even took orders. The barista looked exhausted and kept messing up drinks. I just left and went to the gas station instead. Anyone else skip the trendy spots now?

Honestly, it's just coffee. 15 people deep isn't that bad, you probably woulda been out in like 15 minutes if you just waited.

I get what you're saying @ninab95 about 15 minutes not being that long... but that's assuming the line actually moves at a normal pace. Those places with the super complicated coffee menus, they take like 2 or 3 minutes per person just to take the order. Then you got the people who don't know what they want, or the ones who pay with change. I've stood in lines that looked short but took almost half an hour before. So "15 people deep" can mean a lot of different things depending on the shop.
