Walked 1,000 miles around Bothell Parks last year without even trying
I tracked my walks on my phone for the whole year and hit 1,002 miles... mostly just doing loops around Blyth Park and North Creek Trail. Didn't even notice it adding up until I saw the number. Has anyone else kept tabs on their walking around here and been surprised by the total?

The podcasts and audiobooks really saved me from the boredom on those trails, especially on the longer loops. I found a series I got hooked on and suddenly an hour would pass without me even noticing. @the_sage you might want to try that on your Green Lake laps, it made the repetitive scenery a non-issue for me. Did you ever find a good route that mixes up the views a bit?

Oh wow, a thousand miles of loops in Bothell parks. That's like walking to Seattle and back five times just to see the same trees and ducks over and over. Sounds thrilling, honestly. I did the math on my own walks once and realized I spent about 80 hours circling Green Lake for zero destination. At least you got a cool number out of it, I just got sore calves and a weird tan line on my wrist from my Fitbit. For real though, props to you for not getting hopelessly bored on those trails.
