Why does nobody talk about the new crosswalk on Juanita Woodinville Way?
Last week I almost got hit by a car there, but last month the city said it was safer. Did they actually make it worse, or am I just being dramatic about crossing? What do you all think?

Maybe they focused on making the crosswalk visible to drivers but forgot that nobody actually stops for it. Hard to call it safer when the paint is practically a suggestion.

Joseph_hart is right on the money. The paint job might look good from a car, but drivers treat it like a decoration, not a stop sign. I watched a guy nearly clip a jogger last week while he was looking at his phone. Either the city needs to add flashing lights or they need to slim down that road to slow people down naturally.
