Cheap flights only exist on Tuesdays if you check at 3am, that myth cost me $80 in Miami
Booked a Wednesday noon flight to Chicago thinking I cracked the code, then saw the same seat drop $40 by Friday afternoon, so what days and times actually work for you guys?
I've had way better luck just watching prices over a couple weeks instead of trying to hit some magic day. Set a Google Flights alert for your route and you'll see the dips happen kinda randomly, not on a schedule. The Tuesday 3am thing is leftover advice from when airlines loaded fares on a weekly cycle, which mostly isn't how it works now. Cheapest I ever got was a random Sunday morning about 6 weeks out.
