Compared staying in a hostel dorm versus a capsule hotel in Tokyo last month...
The hostel dorm was $30 a night but I got zero sleep because of snoring, while the capsule hotel was $45 and I actually woke up rested, so the extra $15 was totally worth it for noise control.

Bro that's just the price of not hearing some guy snore like a lawnmower all night. $15 for peace and quiet is a steal honestly. Plus you get your own little pod where nobody can see you eat cup noodles at 3am.
