Hostel kitchen vs street food in Medellin, street food won by a mile
Figured I'd save cash cooking at the hostel for a week, spent $45 on groceries and ate like 3 actual meals. Street food ran me $2 a plate, empanadas and bandeja pausa near the Parque Berrio station, tasted better and saved my evenings. Anyone else ditch hostel kitchens for local stalls on longer trips?
