I finally tried using a public library card to get free museum passes in Portland

I got into the art museum for zero dollars last week, but the librarian gave me a 20 minute lecture on overdue fines when I checked out the pass... has anyone else pulled this off without the side of guilt?

Honestly, the guilt trip is just part of the free ticket price.

That's a pretty standard library move... they have to say it. Getting free entry still seems worth the quick lecture.
