Spent 45 minutes trying to fold a fitted sheet in a hostel dorm in Prague

I was trying to pack up quick before checkout and that stupid elastic kept tangling around my arm for almost an hour while my bunkmate watched. Turns out the hostel had a $2 laundry service that would have folded everything for me. Has anyone else burned a whole morning wrestling with something dumb on a travel day?

Why do people even try to fold fitted sheets in the first place? I mean they're literally designed to be a pain, just ball it up and shove it in your bag... that's what I've always done. You wasted 45 minutes on something that doesn't matter when you could have been enjoying your last coffee in Prague. Hostels have laundry services for a reason, they know travelers overthink simple stuff. Life's too short to fight with elastic corners, just roll it up and move on.

Seriously, "ball it up and shove it in your bag" is my whole travel philosophy now.
