That $60 airport lounge pass turned into a nap on a bench

Back in 2019 I paid $60 for a day pass at the Miami airport lounge thinking I'd save money on food and drinks during a 9 hour layover. Got in, found the hot food was basically cold scrambled eggs and the wifi was slower than the free one downstairs. I forced myself to stay for two hours just to justify the cost, then gave up and ate a $12 burger that was way better. Now I just pack a sandwich and find a quiet gate with a charging outlet, costs me nothing. Anyone else fall for the lounge upgrade trap on a long layover?
