Showerthought: Is it better to buy in bulk or just shop weekly for a family of four?
I used to hit Costco every month and drop $300 on giant boxes of stuff, thinking I was saving big. But then half the produce would rot before we ate it, and my pantry was a disaster zone. Now I shop weekly at Aldi, spending about $100 each trip, and I waste WAY less food. The bulk savings looked good on paper, but the practical waste ate into it, I think. Which side do you lean on for a family with young kids?
