Finally hit $1k in my emergency fund. Took me 14 months.

I kept moving the goalpost at $500 then $750. Seeing four digits in that account feels different. Anyone else have a number that just clicked in their head?

Oh man, I gotta be that guy - I don't get the hype about stashing cash in a savings account that barely earns interest! That $1k could be working for you in the stock market instead of just sitting there.
