Paid $80 for a 'meal prep' service that sent me 3 bags of wilted kale and a single sad chicken breast

I tried that fresh meal kit delivery thing last month and threw out half the box because it was already bad by day two. Has anyone actually gotten their money's worth from these services or is it all overpriced garbage?

Honestly that's rough but honestly not surprising. Was this one of those big name meal kit things or a smaller local service? I need to know which one to avoid because I've been tempted by their ads but stories like yours keep scaring me off. Like how do they expect to charge that much and send stuff that's already turning?
